Join professional photographers Justin Anderson of High Hopes Aurora and Vincent Ledvina on the most beautiful island in the world! Iceland is one of the most unique locations to visit thanks to its active volcanoes, stunning coastline, and beautiful Aurora Borealis. This is the perfect trip to cross items off your bucket list and have a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
The goal for these tours is to give you the best opportunity at seeing the Aurora Borealis in Iceland. We will spend time throughout the day going over camera basics and editing techniques, and you are encouraged to ask questions throughout the entire tour. At night, we’ll chase the aurora borealis among the stunning scenery of Iceland and help you capture the perfect shot!
Dates:
Currently we have opened one tour in September 2024.
September 1-8, 2024
Accommodations:
Accommodations are provided as part of your package. As part of your package, you will have your own private room (Airbnb/Hotel).
Food:
Food is not covered with the accommodations. You will need to purchase your own food. We will be stopping at nearby grocery stores to prepare food at the Airbnb. There will be a few suppers out in the evenings, however, that cost is not covered in our package. We recommend packing snacks at night as well.
Travel:
The tour will begin in Iceland. We will be flying into Keflavik Airport (KEF) on September 1, 2024. Your flight is not included in this package. Traveling throughout Iceland is covered in the package. We will be renting a large passenger van to transport people and gear from location to location.
Weather:
Iceland weather can be very unpredictable, but September is one of the clearest months on average! The temperatures may be chilly, especially if it’s windy out, so we recommend bringing warm clothes and dressing in layers. While out chasing, we will try to stay close to our vehicle or Airbnb. Therefore, even if it’s cold outside, you will be able to warm up at any time throughout the night.
Price:
